Most Memphians have heard of the LUVMUD family of races. Conceptualized and launched in 2010, LUVMUD/LUVGLO are really more events that races – every year, its the place to see or be seen – especially if you are in costume! What you may not know is that LUVMUD races are the primary source of funding for our work at Habitat for Hope. Not only that, these races both attract and utilize over 150 volunteers per event. In 2012, we added Volunteer Director Kati Hoffman to the LUVMUD team. Kati works in advance for months recruiting and orienting individual volunteers as well as teams to help.
